The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) is truly saddened and stunned by the sudden death of RTA Board Director Michael W. Scott. Director Scott served on the RTA Board, representing the City of Chicago where he had a strong commitment to ensure a quality transit system for residents of northeastern Illinois. He will be remembered as a phenomenal leader and passionate man who dedicated himself to bettering the lives of Chicagoans. Director Scott was not only a valued member of the RTA Board, but was also a close colleague and friend. He will be sorely missed.
